Meet Overview

The LAB Holiday Invitational returns on December 26 at the Lincoln Athletic Building in Ypsilanti, featuring competitive indoor track and field action and the debut of two elite sections: The Holiday Mile and The Holiday 400m. Elite sections will be seeded by the fastest submitted marks, with special gifts for every elite participant and the winners. Athletes can close out the holiday season with fast performances and a memorable racing experience.

Lincoln Athletic Building Event Information

Facility Description and Event Locations

The Lincoln Athletic Building is a 120,000 sq. ft. facility that has a 300 meter track, 6 lanes on the oval and an 8 lane, 125 meter straightaway. The Long Jump and Pole Vault are located at the north end of the building, High Jump at the apron on the south side of the facility. Shot Put will be contested on the flagged off portion of the facility's regulation width, 80 yard multi-purpose athletic turf.

Restrooms and Amenities

Restrooms are located in the locker rooms in the main concourse at the southeast corner of the facility. Porta Johns will also be on site located just outside the doors at the southeast corner of the facility.

Facility Rules

SPIKES ALLOWED - SPIKES SHOULD BE PYRAMID SPIKES NO LONGER THAN 1/4". NO TAPE ON TRACK - Chalk will be provided. LINCOLN ATHLETIC BUILDING IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OR INJURY.

Entry Fees/Ticket Information

$14 per person - event entry wristband needed to re-enter. Event Registration can be found on Athletic.net: https://www.athletic.net/team/87840/track-and-field-indoor/2024 Athletic.net calendar: https://www.athletic.net/team/87840/track-and-field-indoor/2024 Ticket Sales are on GoFan.co ONLY - No Cash Sales. Tickets must be purchased by all athletes, coaches and spectators. The ticket service will automatically close as soon as the capacity limit is reached. We charge an Entry Fee, not a competition fee.

Parking

Please respect our campus by using free parking spaces available in the facility lot and on campus - including all lots at the adjoining High School and Middle School. Overflow parking is available in front of the HS. Parking ONLY allowed in DESIGNATED and CLEARLY MARKED PARKING SPACES. No parking along the service drive through campus. Announcements regarding illegally parked cars will be made throughout the course of the meet. ILLEGALLY PARKED CARS WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE. All on campus towing of illegally parked cars is done by Budget Towing:
